Job Introduction

La Bulle Restaurant Team Member - Ski Famille

  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week, on a rotating shift basis (including day shifts, weekends, and some evenings)
  • Work Location: Chalet Hotel Cocon des Neiges – ‘La Bulle’ Restaurant.

As a Restaurant Team Member, you will use your skills and passion for hospitality and customer service every day. Your role is to provide customers with high-quality service at our restaurant, which is right on the piste. You will play a key role in delivering the front of house, food preparation, and general operations of La Bulle. 

We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Restaurant Team Members to join our dynamic team. Each team member will work across a variety of roles, including customer service, food preparation (mainly pizza), drink preparation, and general service tasks. This is a versatile role suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Formal qualifications or previous experience working overseas are not required; confident French speakers (minimum A-Level standard), energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to learn and work as part of a team are essential.


KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Uphold the reputation of Ski Famille & Ski Vertigo
  • Front of House & Customer Service
    • You will greet and seat customers
    • You will present menus and take orders
    • You will provide table service and handle all customer queries
    • You will process payments (cash and card) accurately
  • Kitchen Support& Food Preparation
    • You will prepare pizzas and other items as per recipes and standards
    • You will prepare and serve hot and cold drinks.
    • You must ensure all hygiene and food safety procedures are followed
    • You will support smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
  • General Operations
    • You will clear and reset tables efficiently
    • You will maintain the cleanliness of the dining and kitchen areas, both front of house and back of house.
    • You will collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent service


REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality 
  • A high level of spoken French (minimum A-level standard) is essential, as many of our customers will be French
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm during peak hours
  • Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions
  • Knowledge of snow sports is advantageous
  • A strong and experienced team player
  • Availability for the whole season (mid-November until late April)
  • Current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (to be completed after an offer of employment)
  • A current Basic DBS check (to be provided after an offer of employment)
  • We will take up at least two professional references
